Hoesch Phos HEM 6 is an excellent scaling inhibitor and prevents the precipitation and growth of sparingly soluble alkaline earth salts already with understoichiometric feed quantities (threshold effect). The maximum calcium binding and dispersing capacity is shown by Phos HEM 6 shows its maximum calcium binding and dispersing capacity under weakly alkaline conditions. The very good solubility of the alkaline earth salts of HEM 6 results in additional application advantages when water with very high to extreme degrees of hardness has to be used. By using HOESCH Phos HEM 6 the hydrophilicity of surfaces (e.g. glass, ...) can be increased and thus a better wetting result can be achieved.
