HOESCH SOS 405 is stable in highly electrolytic solutions, in which it produces excellent wetting properties. As an additive in surfactant solutions, it lowers the low-temperature cloud point. HOESCH SOS 405 is an excellent foaming and wetting agent for the production of gypsum boards, fire extinguishing foams, technical cleaners, universal cleaners, chemicals for oil production, emulsion polymerization as well as wetting agents in textile treatment. HOESCH SOS 405 leaves a dry, non-viscous residue which is excellent for dry foam formulations, such as fire fighting foams, carpet and upholstery cleaners, metal cleaners and degreasers. HOESCH SOS 405 can be dissolved by mixing and adding any amount of cold or hot water at the same time.
