Vinkocide™ KTLD is a formulation of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) with 2-methyl-2hisothiazol-3-one (MIT) and dodecylguanidine hydrochloride (DGH). It was developed to provide an alternative in view of the future labeling of BIT at concentrations above 50 ppm due to the 2nd ATP of the CLP Regulation. It - is used for the preservation of water-based and water-dilutable chemical-technical products - has a broad antimicrobial spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi and yeasts - can be used in many cases where other products fail - is characterized by good chemical stability - shows excellent long-term efficacy - has good compatibility with other raw materials Vinkocide™ KTLD was developed to optimally complement the spectrum of activity of a BIT/MIT mixture with reduced BIT content.
